Neighborhood Sustainability Stewards

Stewards at the Benton County Fair

Neighborhood Sustainability Steward Program

Stewards are volunteers that provide sustainability education to the community to increase climate change awareness and to help others reduce their carbon footprint, save money, and save resources.

Stewards receive training in:

  • climate change science
  • household energy reduction
  • food systems
  • waste reduction
  • transportation
  • landscapes
  • values, ethics, behavior, & lifestyle changes
  • and more!

In return Neighborhood Sustainability Stewards work in teams at educational events, public speaking venues, and on community energy saving projects.
