The Resource Efficiency Program is helping Corvallis become a leader in energy efficiency. They partner with Energy Trust of Oregon to provide FREE on-site assistance and education to businesses and organizations in the Corvallis area, to help lower their energy costs by identifying opportunities to reduce energy consumption, and help them receive cash-back incentives and tax credits.
In 2008 and 2009, REP staff provided efficiency assistance to 125 local workplaces, resulting in energy efficiency upgrades and retrofits that will conserve more than 794,000 kWh per year, saving local business $45,000 annually!
