Arsenal owner Stan Kroenke is planning a massive £8 billion investment, but it`s directed towards his American football team, the Los Angeles Rams.
The 77-year-old has announced plans to develop a 52-acre “village” for his NFL franchise.

The “Rams Village” development in Woodland Hills, California, will feature a cutting-edge training facility and headquarters for the LA Rams, along with a new indoor entertainment arena.
The project will also incorporate a hotel, retail spaces, a grocery store, and park areas.
This ambitious project, dubbed `Rams Village`, is estimated to take up to a decade to complete and could cost as much as £8 billion.
Kroenke stated his commitment to Los Angeles, saying, “As we begin our 10th season back in Los Angeles, we are dedicated to shaping the city`s future.”
He added that Rams Village at Warner Center is intended to revitalize Woodland Hills, creating a vibrant community hub with public spaces, entertainment, retail, and residential options.
Kroenke emphasized the opportunity to develop a dynamic destination and establish the Rams` permanent base within Los Angeles, expressing eagerness to collaborate with the city to realize this vision.
The LA Rams` new training facilities will boast two full-size grass pitches and a 150,000 square foot indoor practice field capable of accommodating 2,500 spectators.
While this development promises significant advantages for the NFL team, Arsenal fans have reacted negatively to the announcement.
Some Arsenal supporters feel that the club`s training ground, London Colney, which opened 26 years ago, is more deserving of such investment and modernization.
One fan expressed on social media platform X, “While KSE invests billions in futuristic facilities for the Rams, Arsenal’s London Colney training ground remains stuck in the past, with infrastructure from the 20th century, desperately needing investment.”
Another fan commented on social media, “KSE is putting $10B into a state-of-the-art Rams complex while London Colney is left with outdated, concrete-like pitches. What are their priorities?!”
Recent reports indicate that Arsenal is considering expanding the Emirates Stadium`s capacity.
Discussions are reportedly in the preliminary stages, exploring various potential solutions.
The club is also expected to be active in the summer transfer window, aiming to strengthen the squad with a striker, winger, and midfielder.
Players like Viktor Gyokeres and Nico Williams have been mentioned as possible targets for the North London club.
Martin Zubimendi is also rumored to be a likely signing.
