Gabriel Magalhaes` season with Arsenal is unfortunately over as it has been confirmed he will need surgery.
The Brazilian defender injured his right hamstring during Arsenal`s 2-1 victory against Fulham on Tuesday.

Initially, it was thought he would miss the Champions League quarter-final matches against Real Madrid.
However, the club has now announced that the 27-year-old requires surgery and is unlikely to play again this season.
A club statement said: "Following his substitution in the Fulham match on Tuesday, we confirm that Gabriel Magalhaes has a hamstring injury requiring surgery.
"Gabi will undergo surgery to repair his hamstring in the coming days and will immediately begin his recovery and rehabilitation program, aiming to be ready for the start of next season."
Fans of Arsenal quickly responded to the news of Gabriel`s season-ending injury.
One fan wrote on social media: "Rest up. Player of the season."
Another commented: "Just end the season now."
And someone else said: "Get well soon, Gabi."
One more fan remarked: "Come back stronger, king."

Another person chimed in: "THREE hamstring injuries so severe they require surgery in the same season.
"That raises serious questions about the fitness/conditioning team. It's completely ridiculous."
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is now facing a defensive crisis before next Tuesday`s game against Real Madrid following injuries to Gabriel and Jurrien Timber, who was also injured against Fulham.
Jakub Kiwior is expected to replace the injured Gabriel, and Oleksandr Zinchenko may fill in for Timber at left-back.
Ben White and Riccardo Calafiori missed the Fulham game on Tuesday and are also doubtful for next week`s match against Real Madrid.
