World No. 1 Belarusian tennis player Aryna Sabalenka, a three-time Grand Slam champion, posted on social media to briefly summarize her participation in the WTA 1000 tournament in Rome, Italy.
“Rome, I always leave here with the best memories and a full stomach. Thank you all for the love!” – Sabalenka wrote under her post.
At the WTA 1000 tournament in Rome, Sabalenka`s run ended in the quarterfinals, where she lost to Chinese player Qinwen Zheng with a score of 4/6, 3/6. This was Aryna`s first loss to Zheng in seven career meetings. Prior to this tournament, Sabalenka won the title at another WTA 1000 event in Madrid.
