World No. 3 Carlos Alcaraz of Spain shared his thoughts on his rivalry with Jannik Sinner. He currently holds a 6-4 lead in their head-to-head record.
When asked about the historic rivalry between Nadal and Federer and if Sinner could be his `Federer`, Alcaraz responded:
“Nadal and Federer are unique and unrepeatable. I have had a wonderful rivalry with Jannik for some time now, and I hope that we will continue to compete for the biggest trophies in our sport for many years to come. This would be great for everyone.”
Regarding comparisons to the `Big Three` and who he is most similar to, Alcaraz stated:
“I don`t really like comparisons. Of course, being compared to the three greatest players of all time is a compliment, but I am Carlos Alcaraz, and I am simply trying to find my own path,” Alcaraz was quoted by GQ.
