Carlos Alcaraz to Get MRI Following Barcelona Tournament

World No. 2 Spanish tennis player Carlos Alcaraz will undergo an MRI of his hip, Marca reports.

The tennis player experienced issues during the final match of the ATP 500 tournament in Barcelona, Spain, where he was defeated by Holger Rune of Denmark.

Alcaraz felt discomfort in his right adductor muscle during the match. The severity of the injury is currently unknown.

As a result of the Barcelona tournament, Rune will rise to 9th place in the world rankings, while Carlos will drop to 3rd.
