Cristiano Ronaldo`s son has received his first international call-up to the Portugal Under-15 national team ahead of upcoming matches, including a game against England.
The legendary footballer confirmed the news via his Instagram account, sharing the official squad list. His son`s name appeared first on the list, accompanied by a fire emoji from the proud father.
The 40-year-old added a personal message in Portuguese, writing: “Proud of you, son.”

Cristiano Jr. currently plays in the academy of Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr, having moved there when his father joined the team over two years ago. The 14-year-old has also developed his skills in the youth setups of European giants Juventus and Manchester United earlier in his career.
This call-up marks a significant step as he gets his first taste of international football at the youth level.
Cristiano Jr. is expected to feature for the Portugal U15 squad in matches against Japan, Greece, and England scheduled for later this month.

Back in 2022, the five-time Ballon d`Or winner shared that his eldest son had expressed aspirations of playing alongside him on the professional stage one day.
Ronaldo quoted his son at the time, saying: “My son tells me: dad, hold on a few more years, I want to play with you!”
However, the Portuguese superstar has maintained that he will not put any undue pressure on his son regarding his football future.
He stated: “I will never pressure him. He will do what he wants. Also what I want the most for Cristianito and everyone else is that they`re happy and that they choose what they want. I will support in any way.”
