Dillon Danis Reacts to KSI Fight Cancellation

Boxing news

Dillon Danis has made fun of KSI’s last-minute withdrawal from their boxing match in Manchester next week.

The YouTube celebrity was scheduled to box against former Bellator fighter Dillon Danis on Saturday, March 29th at the AO Arena in Manchester. However, KSI has cancelled the fight today, citing sickness, which he showed in a video announcement.

Misfits Boxing has now cancelled their entire ‘Unfinished Business’ event, which was also supposed to include Darren Till’s return to boxing. The event will be moved to a later date, but no details have been announced yet.

KSI vs Dillon Danis Fight Cancelled Due to KSI’s Illness

Misfits Boxing announced this afternoon that the Unfinished Business event for next weekend has been completely postponed. Undercard fighters like Chase DeMoor and Fox ‘The G’ Townley have expressed their disappointment online, as they had already finished and paid for their training camps.

“Due to KSI’s illness, Misfits Boxing Unfinished Business, planned for March 29th in Manchester, is postponed,” stated an official announcement. “More information will be released next week, including a new date for the event.”

Earlier this month, KSI and Danis faced off at a press conference in London, where KSI slapped his opponent with a pancake.

Immediately after the announcement, Dillon Danis shared his initial thoughts on X (formerly Twitter) about the fight cancellation. He received criticism for pulling out of their original fight in January 2023, but he did travel to London for a day to show his commitment by attending the press conference this month.

While the promotion says the fight is postponed, Danis is already preparing for a fight against Tony Ferguson on May 24 in the GFL. Danis tweeted: “hahahahahahahahaha p—- @KSI.” He then added: “I remember my first cold.”

KSI released a video message explaining his illness, which has prevented him from sparring and ultimately led to the fight’s postponement. He mentioned that he still wants to fight and defeat Danis.
