Controversial combat sports personality Dillon Danis has responded to KSI`s hints about potentially retiring from boxing.
KSI is considering stepping away from boxing. This comes after a conversation with Misfits Boxing co-president Mams Taylor. Following his withdrawal from a scheduled fight against Dillon Danis, KSI expressed uncertainty about his future in the ring, citing a string of unfortunate events.
Dillon Danis was quick to react to this news.
Danis and KSI were originally set to headline MF & DAZN X Series 21 on March 29th in Manchester. However, KSI had to pull out a week before the event due to illness, and Danis was not offered a replacement opponent.

Dillon Danis Reignites Feud After KSI Retirement Comments
After KSI`s emotional statements regarding his boxing career, Danis took the opportunity to declare that he has `retired` the influencer from combat sports.
In recent social media posts, Danis responded to KSI’s comments about potentially ending his boxing career.
“I’ve retired KSI without even throwing a punch,” Danis posted on X. “I’ve officially retired Logan Paul and KSI from boxing. I said from day one I’d be the one to put an end to all of this.”
“Just one left…Jake Paul.”
As of now, KSI has not responded to Danis`s latest taunts.
Danis`s last boxing match was in 2023 against Logan Paul, which ended in a disqualification loss for Danis. He is scheduled to return to MMA to fight former UFC titleholder Tony Ferguson at Global Fight League 2 on May 25th in Los Angeles.
Danis and the Paul brothers, including Jake, have been in a public dispute for several years. Logan Paul’s wife, Nina Agdal, sued Danis for repeatedly sharing her photos on social media.
Danis has claimed that Logan Paul blocked his potential signing with the UFC because Logan’s energy drink brand, PRIME, is an official UFC partner. Currently, UFC matchmakers have neither confirmed nor denied interest in signing Danis.
Dillon Danis Calls Out Jake Paul
Looking towards a possible Danis versus Jake Paul fight, Jake Paul currently does not have a scheduled opponent for his next boxing match after negotiations for a fight with Canelo Alvarez fell through. Paul last fought against Mike Tyson last year and has mentioned the possibility of a superfight with Anthony Joshua.
Paul is currently focused on promoting the upcoming Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano trilogy on July 11th. He has also suggested a potential MMA fight under the PFL banner, but his MMA debut has been postponed due to his boxing pursuits.
A Danis vs. KSI fight seems unlikely in the near future due to KSI`s retirement hints and recent withdrawal due to illness. However, Danis could secure another high-profile fight later this year if he is successful in his upcoming fight against Ferguson.
