British number one and two female tennis players, Katie Boulter and Emma Raducanu, have shared their thoughts on the recent impressive achievements of their fellow Brit, Jack Draper. His strong performance, including reaching the semi-finals of the clay-court Masters tournament in Madrid, led to his recent debut inside the ATP Top 5 ranking.
Reflecting on Draper`s form, Boulter remarked: “When I get to see him, the first thing I`m going to ask is how he manages to play so well on clay. He has truly been very impressive in his recent matches. He has definitely proven himself by making it to the finals of two Masters events within the space of a month. That`s already incredibly impressive, not even mentioning the fact that he actually won one of them.”
Raducanu also commented on Draper`s rise, stating, as quoted by the official ATP website: “It`s amazing to see what he has accomplished and how much effort he has put in. I know he is a brilliant tennis player – he`s tall and has the ability to defeat anyone on the court. It is genuinely fantastic to observe his current level of dominance.”
