Retired BBC football commentator Garth Crooks received a six-month driving prohibition on Thursday following another speeding violation.
The 67-year-old former Tottenham striker admitted exceeding the 20 mph speed limit, driving his 1.4-liter diesel Mercedes A Class at 24 mph.

He argued that the speed camera in Holloway, North London, which detected him in January, was concealed.
However, magistrates at Lavender Hill court stated that speed limits are always in effect, regardless of whether a camera is visible.
Crooks already had nine penalty points from two previous speeding convictions and a traffic signal violation.
This latest offense added three more points, resulting in an automatic driving ban.
Crooks, who won the FA Cup and Uefa Cup during his playing career, was fined £666 and ordered to pay £110 in costs.
He was also required to pay a £266 victim surcharge.
Crooks, an OBE recipient in 1999, informed the court that he is now retired and receives an annual pension of £118,000.
Upon seeing a press photographer outside the court, Crooks covered his face with his jacket as he walked down the steps.
