This blend of football and social media has garnered the forward an impressive 16.4 million followers and earned her the informal title of the “world`s sexiest footballer.”

The Switzerland international shared that she felt a clear calling for football from the young age of six when she used to play with boys.

The former Aston Villa star mentioned that she was “faster than the boys,” which ultimately led her to join a local football club.

Her path significantly changed when she was scouted by Young Boys at the age of 11, marking the official commencement of her football career.

Lehmann recollected her initial experiences in football: “When I was six or seven, I joined a club. As a child, I was very quick, quicker than the boys. I began in my village and always had a strong desire to play.

“The pivotal moment was when I joined Young Boys: I was 11 or 12 years old. At that time, we trained with the boys in the mornings and played matches with the girls on weekends…”

“I enjoyed playing, but I didn`t seriously consider that I could become a professional footballer. Women`s football wasn`t as prominent as it is today, and I genuinely thought I would earn more with a conventional job in Switzerland than as a player. I never anticipated making it; I was just living my life.”

“I identify as a girl, I embrace my femininity, and I enjoy doing things like my nails. I`m not a defender, so throw-ins aren`t my concern. People dwell on these external aspects too much; they have absolutely no bearing on my performance on the pitch. I am constantly criticised for these things, but I don`t pay any attention to what people write.”
