Conor McGregor`s UFC career is being questioned, with some suggesting it might be “OVER.” This comes after his recent visit to Donald Trump at the White House.
Earlier this month, McGregor made headlines by meeting Trump in the Oval Office. He also reiterated his ambition to run for Prime Minister of Ireland.

These political aspirations, combined with his seeming lack of focus on fighting, have led Daniel Cormier to believe that UFC fans may have already seen the last of McGregor in the octagon.
On a recent podcast episode with Ben Askren, Cormier, a former two-division UFC champion, commented: “Conor is acting like a politician now. Is this some kind of joke? Why is he at the White House? What`s happening?”
Cormier added, “I`m starting to think it`s really over for him in UFC. I`m ready to say he`s done fighting.”
McGregor, 36, was expected to return to UFC to fight Michael Chandler last June, but he withdrew due to a broken pinky toe.
Cormier pointed out, “He made Michael Chandler wait for a long time and then didn`t even fight.”
Charles Oliveira has also expressed similar views, saying, “I think it`s over for McGregor.” It seems many are starting to agree that Conor McGregor`s UFC career might be finished.
Cormier questioned, “Isn`t it a sad way for it to end?”

McGregor has not competed in the octagon since he broke his leg in a fight against Dustin Poirier almost four years ago.
UFC President Dana White had previously mentioned a potential return for McGregor in the fall of last year.
However, White seemed to change his stance last month. When asked about McGregor`s return at a UFC event press conference, White simply said, “Conor? Um… Not sure when Conor will be back.”
McGregor`s next fight, if it ever happens, would be his first since being found liable in a civil case for assaulting a woman at a Dublin hotel in December 2018.
McGregor has appealed this verdict, hoping that new evidence will overturn the civil trial`s outcome.
