Island Boys Brothers to Fight Each Other

Boxing news

The highly controversial internet personalities known as ‘The Island Boys’ are scheduled to face off against one another in the main event of this month’s Brand Risk Promotions gathering set to take place in Miami.

These brothers have gained notoriety as some of the most disliked figures across social media platforms, arguably surpassing even the infamy of figures like Jake Paul or KSI within the realm of influencer boxing. One member of the duo, Kodiyakredd, experienced a defeat in his inaugural fight last month. This particular bout notably resulted in a $10,000 win for Dana White, who placed a bet on the outcome.

Now, it appears the duo, often seen together, are slated to compete against each other as the headliners for an event that will also feature Gabriel, the son of Anderson Silva. Adin Ross is facilitating the promotion of this showcase from his warehouse in Miami. The event is an invite-only affair, with a lineup of notable celebrities anticipated to be in attendance.

Island Boys Set for Brother vs Brother Boxing Match

On May 16th, the Island Boys, Kodiyakredd and Flyysoulja, are expected to put their familial relationship aside to compete in a boxing match under the Brand Risk Promotions banner. The controversial siblings have maintained a puzzling dynamic since their rise to prominence on the internet in 2021.

Adin Ross is organizing and promoting this event, having announced the brother vs brother fight as the main attraction for his upcoming show in Miami, now just two weeks away. The event is planned to be broadcast free of charge on Ross’ Kick streaming channel, where it is expected to draw hundreds of thousands of viewers.

While speaking on his stream to announce the fight card, Ross mentioned that one of the brothers was originally intended to fight Charleston White. However, the TikTok personality became unavailable, leading to the decision for the brothers to step up and face each other instead.

Ross elaborated to his audience, “Charleston White cannot fight the Island Boy. He’s going to come on stream and talk about it. So we got the Island Boys are going to fight each other and I don’t know how that’s going to go. Supposedly they have some s— going on so I don’t know what the f— that’s going to be.”

He also confirmed other matchups on the card, including Adam Saleh, who was previously scheduled to fight Patrice Evra, taking on TikTokker Pully Arif. Additionally, Gabriel Silva, son of the legendary Anderson Silva, will have a rematch against OJ Rose, following their previous encounter at a Misfits Boxing event in 2023.

Dana White Claimed $10,000 Wager After Betting Against Island Boy Kodiyakredd`s Debut

Dana White was present at Adin Ross’ Brand Risk Promotions event held last month in Miami, having received an invitation from Ross himself. White provided live commentary throughout the evening. During this time, he placed a bet with Ross, wagering $10,000 that streamer ‘Oblivion’ would defeat Kodiyakredd of The Island Boys.

As it turned out, White’s prediction was accurate. From the outset of the fight, Oblivion’s prior boxing training was clearly evident, and White immediately offered to bet Ross on the outcome. The pair agreed to the $10,000 wager, which quickly seemed like a poor decision for the streamer.

Within the initial minute of the fight, Oblivion scored a standing eight count, as the referee, operating under conservative ISKA rules, aimed to prevent serious injury to either competitor. After observing Kodiyakredd absorb yet another clean sequence of punches, which included a precise uppercut, the fight was stopped with mere seconds remaining in the first round.

The ‘Island Boy’ insisted post-fight that he would have emerged victorious had he received more training. Following his loss, his brother entered the cage and issued a challenge to Kodiyakredd`s opponent.
