Jake Paul Responds to Darts Player After Knockout Threat

Boxing news

Jake Paul has responded to darts player Gerwyn Price’s viral callout after ‘The Iceman’ claimed he could knock him out with a single punch.

In a TalkSport Darts interview, former world champion Gerwyn Price jokingly stated he could defeat Jake Paul with just one punch.

“That’s easy, I’ll look forward to that… He’d probably beat Canelo [Alvarez] but I don’t think he’d beat me… I think it’d just be one punch, all over.” Price said.

Surprisingly, Jake Paul not only saw the clip but also contacted Price and accepted the challenge.

Gerwyn Price is known for his entertaining personality in the darts world, often engaging with the crowd and bringing humor to the sport.

He is also physically larger than many darts players, having a background in professional Rugby League and Rugby Union.

When asked again by TalkSport Darts about Paul’s reaction, Price revealed that Paul had messaged him.

“He’s seen it, [and] he’s messaged me. He wrote back to me and said – actually, I’ll show you the message if you want me to,” Price shared, before revealing the message: “Come to Greece, man. Just name a price.”

Price admitted he hadn`t replied to Paul yet, joking he was “a bit scared” but then teased “Nah I needed to get some training in early.”

Price isn`t the only British sports figure Paul has targeted recently, as he also called out boxer Anthony Joshua.

Gerwyn Price Not the Only Brit Called Out by Paul

On his podcast, Paul stated he wanted to fight Anthony Joshua, confidently saying he would “beat Joshua’s a—.”

“I want to fight Anthony Joshua because I know I will f—— beat Anthony Joshua’s a—. He doesn’t have a chin, and he has no skill, and he is stiff.”

“I love you Anthony, and we are friends. But I want to fight you.” Paul added.

Reportedly, Joshua and Paul video-called after the podcast, and Joshua posted a screenshot on Instagram with the caption “2026” and emojis, possibly hinting at a future fight.

Since losing to Tommy Fury in 2023, Paul has won five fights, including against former UFC fighters Nate Diaz and Mike Perry, and former boxing champion Mike Tyson.
