Jake Paul has responded to Tommy Fury`s recent online taunts after Fury made fun of Paul for suggesting a fight with Anthony Joshua.
Jake Paul experienced his only professional boxing loss against Tommy Fury in 2023. Despite it being two years since their fight, the rivalry between Paul and Fury remains intense.
Fury was scheduled to box former UFC fighter Darren Till earlier this year but withdrew weeks before the event. He claimed Till hinting at using kicks in their boxing match as the reason for pulling out.
Following Fury`s withdrawal and Paul`s break from boxing, talks about a rematch have increased. However, after Paul publicly challenged heavyweight star Anthony Joshua, Fury quickly mocked Paul`s ambition.

Jake Paul Revives Feud with Tommy Fury with Strong Message
Paul has repeatedly mentioned wanting to fight Joshua next, and Joshua seems interested too. Paul aims to return to boxing this summer against an opponent yet to be decided, making a Joshua fight a possibility.
Fury criticized Paul as a `bum` on social media after the Joshua callout. He called himself Paul`s `daddy` after winning their fight by split decision in February 2023.
Paul responded to Fury`s insults on social media platform X.
“Tommy Fumbles Fury… that opportunity is gone,” Paul stated. “I’m focused on growing boxing. You’re just looking for a paycheck and a trip to the pub.
“No judgment, but we have different goals.”
Fury hasn`t responded further to Paul, and currently, his next fight is not scheduled. A rematch between Paul and Fury is still possible because their original fight contract included a rematch clause.
Heavyweight Champion Oleksandr Usyk Interested in Fighting Jake Paul
Paul has many options for his boxing comeback, including Joshua if agreements can be reached. Recently, another big name, Oleksandr Usyk, has emerged as a potential opponent for Paul.
Usyk and his team are interested in fighting Paul, but in an MMA match sometime in the future. Usyk, fresh off two victories over Tyson Fury, has no prior MMA experience.
Paul has often hinted at moving to MMA full-time with the PFL, after signing with them in 2023. While Paul might debut in MMA later this year, it`s becoming less likely due to ongoing talks of boxing matches.
