Jakub Mensik, the world No. 54, has become the lowest-ranked player to reach the final of the Miami Masters tournament in its history.

This record is measured from the tournament`s inception in 1985.

Mensik`s achievement places him sixth among the lowest-ranked players to reach the final at Masters 1000 events, following players such as Borna Coric (No. 152 in Cincinnati 2022), Roberto Carretero (No. 143 in Hamburg 1996), Mikael Pernfors (No. 95 in Montreal 1993), Alexei Popyrin (No. 62 in Montreal 2024), and Chris Woodruff (No. 57 in Montreal 1997).

The 19-year-old Czech player is set to break into the Top 25 of the ATP rankings for the first time.
