World No. 54 Jakub Mensik shared his emotions after defeating Novak Djokovic in the Miami Masters final with a score of 7-6(4), 7-6(4).
In an on-court interview, the 19-year-old Czech player mentioned that his head was in `some kind of chaos`.
“Novak, everyone knows that you are the reason I am here. I watched you in my childhood. You are the reason I started playing tennis.”
“In tennis, there is no harder task than beating you in a final. Thank you for everything you have done for this sport and for people. You are an amazing person, the greatest in history,” Mensik stated at the award ceremony.
