Jamie Vardy caused quite a stir with significant omissions when selecting the best eleven players he`s featured alongside during his time at Leicester City.
The Foxes icon recently confirmed his departure from the club after a remarkable 13-year tenure at the conclusion of the current season.

At 38 years old, Vardy achieved considerable success with the club, notably securing the Premier League and FA Cup titles.
However, his time at Leicester also included two relegations from the top division, a period seemingly influencing his team selection.
Notably, the veteran forward did not include a single member of the current Leicester City squad in his selected team.
This means notable players like Wilfred Ndidi and Ricardo Pereira were not chosen.
Vardy also overlooked England internationals such as Harry Maguire and James Maddison.
These two players made lucrative moves from the King Power Stadium to Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur respectively.
Another England star conspicuously absent was captain Harry Kane.
The current Bayern Munich forward had a brief nine-minute appearance alongside Vardy at Leicester during a loan spell from Spurs back in 2013.
Other significant players not making Vardy`s selection include Inter Milan legend Esteban Cambiasso, Ben Chilwell, Wesley Fofana, and Ademola Lookman.
Vardy`s chosen team had a clear theme: the unforgettable Premier League title victory in 2016.

In goal, the striker chose Kasper Schmeichel, positioned behind a defensive line of Danny Simpson, Wes Morgan, Robert Huth, and Christian Fuchs.
His midfield trio consisted of Youri Tielemans, N`Golo Kante, and Danny Drinkwater.
Upfront, Vardy naturally included himself, flanked by Riyad Mahrez and Marc Albrighton.
Fans quickly noticed the complete absence of his current team-mates, interpreting it as a critical assessment of the squad`s current state.
Online comments included remarks like: “None of his current team-mates lol,” “So no current squad? Yeahhh…. Even Jamie knows,” and “No one from the current crop of rubbish.”
One user humorously added: “Surprised Wout Faes hasn’t been included in that tbf.”
Vardy confirmed his departure from Leicester in a heartfelt video message.
His decision follows the club`s recent relegation from the Premier League.
Vardy would undoubtedly have preferred to leave under better circumstances, having described the recent relegation season as a “s**t show”.
He is expected to continue his football career, with reports suggesting clubs in the US have shown interest in signing him.
