Following her advancement to the semifinals of the WTA 1000 tournament in Miami, American tennis player Jessica Pegula expressed her hopes. She aims to reach the final for the first time in her career, after suffering defeats in the 2022 and 2023 semifinals against Iga Swiatek and Elena Rybakina.
In the semifinal, Pegula will face Alexandra Eala from the Philippines, who is ranked 140th in the world.
“I love playing here, I love competing at home, and winning at the Dolphins stadium. I hope my third attempt will be successful, and I can reach the final,” Pegula stated.
