Juan Carlos Ferrero, coach of Carlos Alcaraz, commented on his player`s performance in key moments. Ferrero discussed how Alcaraz saved three match points and won the decisive fifth-set tiebreak in the `Roland Garros` final against Jannik Sinner.
“I think he`s simply born to play in these kinds of moments,” Ferrero stated. “Every time we`ve found ourselves in such situations – even when he was younger, playing Challengers, 250s, and 500s, back when significant opportunities first arose for him – he always aimed to capitalize on them.”

We focus on mentally preparing him for these scenarios, such as a fifth-set tiebreak. He immediately goes on the offensive at the first chance he gets. He`s always aggressive and strives to win every single point.”
