YouTuber and boxer KSI has confessed to being unsure about his future in boxing after recently withdrawing from another fight last month.
The social media personality was scheduled to box Dillon Danis last week at a Misfits Boxing event in Manchester, but had to pull out due to illness. This marks his second fight cancellation; last summer, his planned two-on-one match with Slim Albaher and Anthony Taylor was called off because of a hand injury.
Now, as it nears two years since his last fight against Tommy Fury, KSI seems uncertain about continuing his boxing career. In a recent YouTube video, he expressed frustration with the problems that have plagued his boxing journey since his return in the summer of 2022.
KSI Admits Boxing Career Might Be Over Following Dillon Danis Fight Cancellation
KSI`s boxing career has been riddled with difficulties in recent years, with issues affecting almost every event he`s been involved in. He has withdrawn from his last two scheduled fights and has experienced numerous cancellations, opponent changes, and controversies in the past.
His last fight was a loss to Tommy Fury by unanimous decision, a result he unsuccessfully appealed. Before that, a fight against Joe Fournier was initially ruled a knockout victory for KSI but was later changed to a No Contest after it was determined he knocked out his opponent with an elbow.
In a new video, KSI shared his frustrations about his boxing career with fans, saying: “The amount of stress I’ve gone through over the past few years, especially with Misfits, has been immense.”
“I feel like I’ve aged during these two and a half years since Misfits was created. So, where does that leave me with boxing? I really don’t know. Am I going to retire? I don’t know. Will I fight again? I don’t know.”
Misfits Boxing Addresses KSI vs Dillon Danis Cancellation
After the postponement and subsequent cancellation of the KSI vs. Danis fight, Misfits Boxing was compelled to reschedule their next non-PPV event. The ‘Blinders and Brawls’ show was moved from April 12th to May 16th, causing fans to worry about the future direction of the promotion.
“The last few weeks haven`t been enjoyable,” Misfits boss Mams Taylor posted on X following the latest delay. “A series of unfortunate events beyond our control. We attempted to find a main event replacement and even considered a non-PPV show to keep the event going. We explored every option.”

“Apologies for the delay in communication, but refunds will be available next week for the Manchester event. We sincerely apologize to the fans for the rocky start to ’25. We are determined and confident to more than compensate with our plans for this year.”
“I’m sorry. Misfits is still young. We are two and a half years into a plan spanning decades. We are incredibly proud of what we have accomplished together so far, and things will only get better, with weaknesses becoming strengths.”
“We will return on May 16th in Derby, and the updated fight card will be announced soon, featuring significant additions. The comeback will be substantial, and major changes are coming.”
“To those who have shown unwavering loyalty, support, and understanding – fighters and fans alike – I see you and appreciate you immensely. Thank you. More news is coming soon, so stay tuned.”
