The welterweight clash between Leon Edwards and Sean Brady is officially on.
Former welterweight champion Leon Edwards is set to return to the octagon against Sean Brady at the UFC Fight Night 255 event at The O2 Arena on Saturday night, aiming to return to winning form.

This fight marks Edwards’s first appearance since losing his welterweight title to Belal Muhammad last July.
Edwards, nicknamed ‘Rocky’, successfully made weight for the upcoming non-title fight.
The 33-year-old stepped onto the scales first and weighed 171lbs.
The weight cut was likely less demanding for Edwards due to the one-pound allowance for non-title fights.
Sean Brady, known for his grappling skills, weighed in shortly after Edwards, hitting 170lbs exactly.
Leon Edwards made history in August 2022 by becoming the UK’s second UFC champion, knocking out then-pound-for-pound king Kamaru Usman in the final moments of their fight.
He defended his title against Usman in a rematch six months later and then defeated Colby Covington at the end of 2023.
Edwards was scheduled for a third title defense against Belal Muhammad at UFC 304 last July.

However, he lost his welterweight title in a grueling fight against Muhammad, who out-grappled him.
Edwards has stated that the unusually late fight start time significantly impacted his performance and contributed to his loss.
He explained, “The 4am/5am walkout was crazy. I tried to adjust, but it was difficult.
“I felt my reactions were slower than usual. My mind knew what to do based on my training,
“But my body and mind weren’t as synchronized as they typically are during fights.
“Walking out at 5am felt strange, even though I tried to use it to get myself ready for the fight.
"Despite the loss, it was still a close fight, even on my off day.
"He won three rounds, and I won two… It was close even when I wasn`t at my best.”
