Fitness trainer Sébastien Durand recently shared insights into French tennis player Loïs Boisson`s approach to training and physical conditioning.
“In 3.5 years, she has never once been late for a training session,” Durand stated. “Her equipment is always ready, she`s prepared herself, and she never skips a practice. She is completely focused on what she`s doing and gives 100%. The main thing is the balance of strength and weight; this is crucial in a sport where you need to change direction quickly and be both enduring and explosive simultaneously. As long as her physical build doesn`t negatively impact her results, I fully support it. Currently, she possesses sufficient power to move effectively and maintain that level consistently. As long as we keep this balance and she feels excellent, everything is on track.”
Boisson, ranked World No. 361, recently reached her first career Grand Slam semi-final. She is scheduled to compete against Coco Gauff for a spot in the final.
