The London derby between Tottenham and Chelsea on Thursday night witnessed a fiery confrontation as players from both teams clashed just before halftime.
A heated scuffle broke out near the Tottenham penalty area when Cristian Romero pushed Levi Colwill to the ground.

The tension initially escalated after Colwill made a robust challenge on Micky van de Ven as Tottenham, who were down 1-0, attempted a counter-attack.
The referee called a foul on the challenge, but Tottenham players remained agitated.
Nearly every Tottenham player protested the foul, raising their hands in frustration.
Romero, particularly incensed, confronted Colwill directly.
The Argentine defender aggressively approached Colwill and shoved him to the ground.
This action prompted Chelsea players to defend their teammate, leading to a large-scale brawl.
Trevoh Chalobah confronted Romero, and Tottenham players including James Maddison, Rodrigo Bentancur, and Djed Spence intervened to pull Chalobah away.
Referee Craig Pawson was overwhelmed by the number of players involved and struggled to control the situation.

Once the situation calmed, referee Pawson issued punishments.
Colwill escaped a booking for the initial foul, while Chalobah and Romero were both shown yellow cards for their roles in the brawl.
Following the incident, the game intensified, and Enzo Fernandez scored a header in the second half, giving Chelsea a 1-0 lead.
Tottenham thought they had equalized when Pape Matar Sarr scored from long range.
However, VAR disallowed the goal, ruling that Sarr had fouled Moises Caicedo in the buildup.
Chelsea ultimately secured a 1-0 victory, moving back into the top four, while Tottenham remain in 14th place after another disappointing performance.
