Viktor Gyokeres is reportedly very angry at Sporting Lisbon following the club`s sudden change of stance regarding his transfer release clause.
The Swedish forward is highly sought after after a second excellent season with the Portuguese club, attracting significant interest from top European clubs.

Sources indicate that Gyokeres had a prior understanding with the club at the beginning of the season that they would accept a transfer fee below his contract`s official £84 million release clause. This gentleman`s agreement reportedly allowed for him to leave the Portuguese capital for an overall fee of £59 million, with £51 million of that amount paid up front.
However, reports from Portugal suggest Sporting has reversed this agreement and is now demanding £67 million for the player`s services.
Gyokeres, who is wanted by Manchester United, is said to be irate about this change and reportedly feels a sense of betrayal from the club.
After two highly prolific seasons, the Swede is reportedly looking to move elsewhere, attracting interest not only from Manchester United but also from their Premier League rivals Arsenal.
Last season alone, he scored an impressive 54 goals and provided 13 assists across 52 games, bringing his total for the club to 97 goals in 102 appearances.
If Manchester United meets the £67 million demand, Gyokeres could potentially link up again with manager Ruben Amorim at Old Trafford.

Gyokeres significantly improved under Amorim`s management at Sporting. According to the report, Amorim took over as Manchester United manager last November after Erik ten Hag`s departure.
Despite being eager to leave Lisbon, Gyokeres admits he is unsure what the future holds.
He commented late last month: “It`s football, I`m still here. I don`t know what`s going to happen. Nobody can predict the future.”
