Nikola Pietrangeli: Sinner Has a Half-German Character and Doesn’t Feel Pressure

Sport news

Italian tennis legend Nikola Pietrangeli has offered his views on the current world number one, fellow Italian Jannik Sinner. According to the expert, Sinner currently shows no signs of feeling pressure, though Pietrangeli suggests this could potentially change.

“Sinner should be left in peace so he can play,” Pietrangeli stated. “Jannik possesses a sort of half-German character; he doesn`t seem to feel pressure, even though he is only 23 years old.”

He continued, “Right now, we are talking about a player who is deservedly the world number one. However, I fear that if he were to suffer three consecutive defeats, it could put an end to the hero worship surrounding him.”
