Novak Djokovic Aims for Extended Play at Monte Carlo

24-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic has expressed a cautious outlook regarding the upcoming Masters tournament in Monte Carlo, Monaco. The Serbian tennis star conveyed his hope to progressively improve his performance as the tournament unfolds.

“I am trying to maximize these days, the preparation, the training, and I hope I can play more than one match.”

“I`m taking it day by day. I am one of those players who gets better over time and as I play more tournaments on this surface, which is quite demanding and different from others,” Djokovic stated at a press conference.

Djokovic is set to face the winner of the match between Alejandro Tabilo (Chile) and Stan Wawrinka (Switzerland) in the opening round of the Monte Carlo tournament.
