Oscar De La Hoya Criticizes Dana White in Harsh Words

Boxing news

Oscar De La Hoya has launched a strong attack on Dana White, the president of UFC, using very harsh insults.

White is collaborating with Turki Al-Sheikh to try and make TKO Boxing a leading company in the industry.

However, De La Hoya is skeptical about the success of this venture, claiming that White doesn`t understand boxing.

In an unusual outburst, De La Hoya not only criticized White`s knowledge of boxing but also his personality.

De La Hoya`s Strong Words Against Dana White

Oscar De La Hoya is known for openly sharing his opinions.

During his Instagram segment called `Clapback Thursday,` he verbally attacked his longtime business rival, Dana White.

De La Hoya commented on Dana White`s attempt to re-enter the boxing world, stating that White can`t manage a boxing organization without fighters. He argues that currently, neither Dana White nor TKO has any significant boxers.

He suggests that their strategy might be long-term, aiming to build a company by signing fighters whose contracts with other promoters are expiring.

De La Hoya also brought up leaked information about TKO`s supposed fighter payouts, suggesting they are low and could cause problems. He believes that top fighters will not accept low pay, and that many fighters will be underpaid, especially considering the tough fights they will be in, as White promotes the idea of the best fighting the best, leading to short careers.

He questioned if prominent boxers like Canelo Alvarez and Ryan Garcia would agree to a significant pay cut to fight for TKO, implying they would not.

Furthermore, De La Hoya pointed out that UFC fighters might be upset if boxers in TKO are paid more than them, as UFC fighters are already unhappy with their earnings compared to the risks they take.

De La Hoya recalled Dana White`s previous failed attempts to enter boxing, like Zuffa Boxing, which never materialized. He believes that White`s success was tied to having partners like the Fertitta brothers and now Turki Al-Sheikh, implying White struggles without such support.

Regarding Dana White`s character, De La Hoya referenced a book written by White`s mother that portrays him as a “terrible person,” suggesting that White`s negative reputation speaks for itself.

De La Hoya Found Turki Alalshikh`s Comment About Dana White ‘Offensive’

De La Hoya and White have a history of conflict.

It seems De La Hoya might also have a new rival in Turki Al-Sheikh.

Turki Al-Sheikh`s ambitious plans have definitely gotten De La Hoya`s attention.

De La Hoya recently mentioned feeling offended by something Turki Alalshikh said about Dana White, indicating a complex dynamic between the three figures.
