PGA Tour 2K25 Season 2 Unveils New Challenges Mode

PGA Tour 2K25 Season 2 has launched, introducing updates from developer HB Studios and publisher 2K Games aimed at enhancing the experience for virtual golf enthusiasts.

The highlight of the new season is the Challenges mode, which blends intricate golf scenarios with elements reminiscent of RPGs. Players navigate a map, selecting their own route to complete challenges and earn rewards. While based on realistic golf, some missions offer a more arcade-like twist for variety.

In these scenarios, players must meet specific conditions, with unique modifiers either hindering or assisting their efforts. For instance, players might need to guide their shots through a sequence of floating rings.

Future scenarios will draw inspiration from historic golf moments, challenging players to replicate the sport`s most memorable shots. HB Studios plans to update and expand this mode each season. A new course specifically designed for this mode, created in collaboration with Charles Schwab, is also expected soon.

Additionally, Season 2 introduces the legendary Old Course at St. Andrews to PGA Tour 2K25. Alongside the course, a variety of new unlockable rewards, including upgrades, enhancements, and gear, are available. A notable addition is the `Long Flop` shot type. This shot has more power than the standard Flop Shot while maintaining a high trajectory, spin, and roll, making it useful for adjusting shots that didn`t quite reach their target.
