Arsenal will now play against Liverpool at Anfield on May 11, in a match that could become Liverpool`s title celebration.

Arne Slot`s Liverpool team is significantly ahead in the title race, leading second-place Arsenal by 12 points.

The Reds will host the Gunners in their second to last home game of the season.

Out of their remaining eight matches, Liverpool needs only 13 more points to secure the title, irrespective of other match outcomes.

Anfield is now scheduled to host Arsenal on Sunday, May 11, with the match kicking off at 4:30 PM.

The game will be broadcast live on Sky Sports.

If results are favorable, Liverpool might be able to lift the Premier League trophy while playing against Arsenal.

However, it is more likely that the trophy presentation will occur on May 25 against Crystal Palace, on the final day of the season.

If Slot`s team secures the title, it will be the first time since May 1990 that the club`s fans will witness their team lifting the trophy in person.

Liverpool`s previous title victory in 2020 occurred during COVID restrictions, with no fans allowed in Anfield for celebrations.

In another scheduling change, Mikel Arteta`s Arsenal is now set to play against Crystal Palace on Wednesday, April 23, at 8 PM.

This London derby was rescheduled because Palace reached the FA Cup semi-finals.

Similarly, Man City, another FA Cup semi-finalist, will now host Aston Villa on Tuesday, April 22, while Nottingham Forest will play against Brentford on Thursday, May 1.

Nottingham Forest has been this season`s surprise contender, and their match at City Ground will start earlier at 7:30 PM.

Thomas Frank`s Brentford will now play against Manchester United on Sunday, May 4, due to Forest`s FA Cup progress.

Later in May, Chelsea is scheduled to face Newcastle in the early match on Saturday, May 10.

However, if Enzo Maresca`s team advances to the next stage of the Europa Conference League, this match will be moved to midday on May 11.

Regardless of the kickoff time, the game at St James` Park will be televised live on TNT Sports.
