Football analyst Roy Keane made a humorous remark on Sky Sports, suggesting that Kevin De Bruyne should consider joining Manchester United when his current contract with Manchester City expires this summer.
De Bruyne, now 33 years old, has confirmed his intention to leave City upon the conclusion of his contract.

The Belgian midfielder has participated in 34 matches across all competitions for Pep Guardiola’s squad this season, contributing five goals and eight assists.
However, after ten years and 416 appearances in the Sky Blue shirt, De Bruyne is preparing for a new chapter in his career.
During a segment on Sky Sports leading up to City’s important match against Aston Villa in the push for Champions League qualification, Keane jokingly proposed that De Bruyne remain in Manchester but relocate across the city to Old Trafford.

Keane`s quip came after fellow pundit Shay Given commented that De Bruyne “can turn up at another Premier League club and that is a concern for City.” Keane responded simply, “United? He wouldn`t have to move house.”
Following City’s 2-0 victory over Everton on Saturday, De Bruyne spoke about his future, admitting it was “a little bit of a shock” that the reigning Premier League champions had not yet presented him with a new contract offer.
He stressed that he believes he can still “perform at this level like I’m showing,” and clarified that he was “open for anything” regarding his next step.
He has previously been mentioned in connection with potential transfers to Major League Soccer and the Saudi Pro League, and there are also ongoing speculations that De Bruyne might stay in the Premier League with a different team.

Keane maintains that De Bruyne still possesses the necessary skill to trouble opponents when given the opportunity.
He stated, “We know how ruthless Manchester City can be when it comes to players of a certain age.
“Give him time on the ball and he will punish you, all he needs is a moment.
“However much you try to stop him, there are certain areas where you simply can`t.”
