The midfielder joined Napoli from Manchester United last summer in a £25 million deal and has made a significant impact since his arrival.

The 28-year-old has become a key player for the Italian giants and has been instrumental in their Serie A title challenge this season.

With three games remaining, Napoli holds a three-point lead over nearest rivals Inter Milan, putting them in a strong position to secure their fourth Scudetto (league title).

McTominay has been a standout performer, thriving in a more advanced role and netting 12 goals for Gli Azzurri (The Blues).

Napoli`s fans are known for their passion, and they have found creative ways to show their affection for their new Scottish hero.

Many supporters attend games wearing kilts, and there is even a pizza named after him.

One particularly devoted fan went as far as getting a tattoo of McTominay on their leg, featuring his new nickname, `McFratm`.

Among the various nicknames he has acquired, this is the one that has truly resonated and stuck.

Given to him by a teammate, `McFratm` translates to `McBro` and has quickly become popular.

This nickname is also prominently displayed in the impressive shrine that has emerged in the heart of Naples.

Located on the narrow, graffiti-covered street called San Nicola a Nilo, the shrine features the Scotland international`s face painted on the side of an old 17th-century building.

Situated in the historical Decumani district, McTominay`s portrait occupies a striking position, framed by architectural details and pillars.

In addition to McTominay`s name, the artwork includes his nickname `McFratm` and the initials `N4`, referencing the fans` hope for Napoli`s upcoming fourth championship success.

His number 8 shirt and a football are also depicted in the painting.

The identity of the artist responsible for the creation remains unknown.

In front of the mural sits a `Super Santos` football, a bright orange ball that is a staple for children playing street football in Naples, seemingly stuck there for some time.

This latest tribute to the player evokes comparisons to the way the great Diego Maradona was revered in the city.

The late Argentina superstar is undoubtedly Napoli`s biggest legend, having inspired the club to its first two Serie A titles in 1987 and 1990.

Walking around Naples, it is almost impossible not to find some form of tribute to Maradona.

These tributes include several murals, the most famous of which was painted by Napoli supporter Mario Filardi in 1990 following the club`s second Scudetto triumph.

Numerous other murals, paintings, and graffiti designs honoring Maradona are scattered throughout the city.
