Stefanos Tsitsipas Plans Adjustments to Finally Defeat Arthur Fils

Sport news

Greek tennis player Stefanos Tsitsipas, currently ranked 16th in the world, shared his thoughts on the upcoming match against Frenchman Arthur Fils. Tsitsipas is set to play against Fils, who is ranked 14th globally, in the quarterfinals of the ATP 500 tournament in Barcelona, Spain.

“I consider him a worthy opponent with a very assertive style of play. My previous experiences playing against him were not successful, and I intend to make adjustments to my tactics. I will try to create more opportunities to win this time, carefully observing his actions and preventing him from dictating the pace of the game,” Tsitsipas stated at a press conference.

The rivals have faced each other twice before, with Fils winning on both occasions.
