Four-time Grand Slam doubles champion Rennae Stubbs has reacted to Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka`s statement calling her performance in the 2025 Roland Garros final “terrible.” In the championship match for the title, world number one Sabalenka lost to American Coco Gauff with a score of 7/6(5), 2/6, 4/6.
Stubbs commented on her social media page: “Pfft… the tennis wasn`t that bad. You made a bunch of unforced errors because you were playing one of the fastest players in the world who is damn fearless and has more composure than you! But to say it was awful… Pfft! That was harsh. I said what I said.”
