Tottenham Hotspur star Son Heung-min has reportedly contacted South Korean police following an alleged blackmail attempt by a man and a woman, according to recent reports.
Reports indicate the footballer was approached by a woman who falsely claimed to be pregnant with his child.

Seoul police have confirmed the arrest of a woman in her twenties on suspicion of extortion. A man has also been apprehended in connection with attempted extortion.
According to Yonhap News, the pair allegedly demanded a large sum of money from Son in return for their silence.
The 32-year-old star, who is not married and has no children, reportedly filed a police complaint last week.
The suspects reportedly sought to extort several hundred million Korean won from the Spurs player.
Son`s legal representatives stated that the woman claimed to have become pregnant with his child in June of the previous year.
While Son has previously been linked to Korean pop stars, he stated in 2019 that he would not settle down until his football career is over.
He quoted his father, saying, “My father says this and I agree, as well. When you marry, the number one will be family, wife and kids, and then football.”
He emphasized his desire to keep football as his top priority while playing at the highest level, noting that there would be plenty of time for family life after retirement. “I want to make sure that while I play at the top level, football can be number one. You don’t know how long you can play at the top level. When you retire, or when you are 33 or 34, you can still have a long life with your family.”
