Muhammad has been consistently dominant in recent years and now prepares to face Jack Della Maddalena for his first title defense.
Although Della Maddalena is currently ranked No. 5 in the division—behind contenders like Edwards and Kamaru Usman—he has been compiling an impressive winning streak of his own.
Since joining the UFC, Della Maddalena remains undefeated through seven fights.
His overall professional winning streak now stands at 17 consecutive victories, with his last defeat occurring in May 2016 during just his second pro bout.
He has been inactive for the past year, but his recent record includes notable wins over fighters such as Gilbert Burns and Kevin Holland.

French contender Manon Fiorot, who is undefeated in 12 bouts since her professional debut in 2018, gets her long-awaited first opportunity at a UFC title.
Fiorot`s last victory was against Erin Blanchfield in March 2024.
