UFC London is just around the corner, and fans in the UK are eagerly awaiting Leon Edwards` return to the Octagon.
The former welterweight champion will headline the event against Sean Brady. The undercard is packed with exciting matchups as well.
This fight marks Edwards` first appearance since losing his title to Belal Muhammed last July in Manchester.
Edwards, a top contender for a while, will compete in his fifth consecutive main event, facing Brady in a five-round battle.
Brady, also 32, has a similar history with current champion Belal Muhammed, having fought him for a top contender spot in 2022.
Victory for either Edwards or Brady could put them back in title contention in the competitive 170lbs division, potentially for a rematch with their shared opponent.
Fans are excited to see prominent fighters compete in England.
UFC London Undercard Highlights
The co-main event features former light-heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz against Carlos Ulberg. Both fighters are aiming for a title shot and are one win away from potentially challenging for the championship.
Blachowicz, recently turned 42, hopes for one last title run and aims to face the winner of a possible rematch between Alex Pereira and Magomed Ankalaev.
Fan-favorite Molly `Meatball` McCann will also be on the main card, facing Alexia Thainara, a late replacement for Istela Nunes.
Nathaniel Wood, another popular English fighter, will open the main card against Morgan Charriere in a featherweight bout.
Both Wood and Charriere are rising contenders in the 145lbs division and are looking to climb the rankings with a significant win.
On the preliminary card, flyweight prospect Lone`er Kavanagh has garnered attention from British fans after a successful UFC debut last November in China.
Kavanagh, a 25-year-old rising star, will face Felipe Dos Santos in what is expected to be an exciting striking contest.
Also on the prelims is undefeated English heavyweight Mick Parkin (10-0), who will face his toughest test to date against Marcin Tybura.
Tybura, after a loss to Tom Aspinall in 2023, has rebounded with wins against Jhonata Diniz and fan-favorite Tai Tuivasa.
