The Professional Fighters League (PFL) is back with a revamped format.
Previously, fighters in each weight class competed in two regular season fights, earning points based on their victories. The top four fighters in each division then advanced to the playoffs, consisting of semi-finals and finals, all leading to championship bouts.

Winners in the past took home a $1 million prize. However, this year, the format has been adjusted.
The tournament structure has been condensed from four stages to three, and now every fight is crucial – it`s a win-or-go-home situation right from the start.
The competition will now feature quarter-finals, semi-finals, and a final, spread across five months. The tournament winner will receive a $500,000 bonus.
The tournament begins on Thursday, April 3, in Orlando, Florida, featuring men`s welterweight and featherweight divisions.
Following this, on Friday, April 11, the women`s flyweight and men`s bantamweight divisions will compete.
Friday, April 18 will showcase men`s middleweight and lightweight fights, with the first round concluding on Thursday, May 1, with men`s light-heavyweight and heavyweight divisions.
The semi-finals are scheduled for June, and the finals will take place in August. A total of $20 million in prize money will be awarded throughout the tournament.
