Olympic gold medalist Kyle Snyder was arrested following an undercover police operation targeting prostitution.
Snyder, a 29-year-old freestyle wrestler, is reportedly among 16 individuals charged in connection with the operation conducted by police in Columbus, Ohio.

In 2016, Snyder made history by becoming the youngest wrestler to simultaneously hold his sport`s three main titles.
His achievements include the world championship, Olympic gold, and an NCAA title.
Columbus Police confirmed his arrest occurred on Friday as part of their investigation.
According to US media reports, the police initiated the sting by placing online advertisements for escort services.
They then used responses to these ads to arrange potential arrests.
It is alleged that Snyder contacted a phone number provided in one of the advertisements.
The three-time world champion is accused of agreeing to meet with the person advertising the service at a nearby hotel.
Reports claim he allegedly paid cash to an undercover officer at the hotel and requested oral sex.
Snyder was arrested based on allegations related to soliciting prostitution.
He was reportedly released at the scene following his arrest and is scheduled to appear in court on May 19.

A native of Woodbine, Maryland, Snyder earned Olympic gold in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, nine years ago, making him the youngest American wrestler to achieve this feat.
He later won silver at the Tokyo Games in 2020 but did not medal in Paris the previous year.
The three-time national champion recently joined the new Real American Freestyle wrestling promotion, founded by wrestling legend Hulk Hogan and former WWE executive Eric Bischoff.
