Honored Russian coach Viktor Yanchuk believes that 21-year-old Russian tennis player Diana Shnaider is on track to enter the Top 5 of the WTA rankings in the near future. Just this week, Shnaider achieved a career-high ranking, reaching world number 11.
Yanchuk commented on Shnaider`s potential:
“Shnaider is one of our most promising players. She has already accomplished significant things in doubles with Mirra Andreeva, plays strong singles matches, and pushes top international players. She has immense potential, and I think she will be among the world`s top five very soon. Her left-handedness makes her an awkward opponent, and she has incredibly sharp strokes.”
