Some scheduled men`s second-round matches at Wimbledon on Thursday, June 3rd, were not completed as planned.

The reason for the interruption of several contests was insufficient light. The following matches were suspended:

  • Márton Fucsovics (Hungary) vs. Gaël Monfils (France) – current score 6/4, 1/6, 4/6, 7/6(5)
  • Ben Shelton (USA) vs. Rinky Hijikata (Australia) – current score 6/2, 7/5, 5/4

Notably, Ben Shelton`s match was halted at a critical juncture when the American player was preparing to serve for the match win.
