A woman who alleges she was sexually abused by Jesse Lingard`s grandfather sent a message to the football star, expressing her disapproval, a court has been told.
Kenneth Lingard, 86, is facing accusations of sexually assaulting the woman from the age of five until she reached 19.

The woman reported the alleged abuse to the police after watching a documentary featuring former Man Utd player Jesse Lingard.
Lingard, currently playing for FC Seoul in South Korea, had spoken positively about his grandfather`s impact on his football career.
Liverpool Crown Court was informed that the woman sent him messages on three occasions on November 18, 2022.
In one message, she stated: "Shame on you Jesse Lingard. Full of lies. Your grandad Kenneth Lingard molested and sexually abused me, and you are aware of it."
"You made the documentary for money and to present yourself as some kind of mental health advocate. Well, as you say, I am now speaking out. No more silence."
In another message, she implied Jesse was hiding a "dark" secret that his grandfather was a "paedophile" and "child molester".
She also called Jesse`s deceased grandmother, Pamela, an "enabler".
When she didn`t receive a response from Jesse, the court heard she messaged a friend of the footballer who he was vacationing with at the time.
She claimed he had "no right to make that documentary" when his grandfather had "molested" her for years.
The woman added: "F****** cheeky twat. Shame on you Jesse Lingard."
The jury also heard about calls she made to the police on the day the documentary Jesse Lingard — The Untold Story was broadcast.
She inquired with officers about how to get someone "arrested for child abuse, but historical child abuse?"
The woman also informed police that she "thought it was time to speak out about the abuse I had suffered" after watching the program.
She added: "It just made me feel sick that he was portrayed as such a hero.”
Lingard, from Warrington, denies 17 counts of indecent assault.
The trial is ongoing.
Jesse Lingard, a midfielder, joined Manchester United`s youth academy at age seven and progressed to the first team in the 2011-12 season.
He played 149 games for them, scoring 20 goals, including goals in the FA Cup, League Cup, and Community Shield finals.
Jesse Lingard moved to Nottingham Forest in 2022 but left after a year after a disappointing period at the club.
He then joined South Korean team FC Seoul in February 2024 on a two-year contract, taking a significant pay reduction to £17,500 per week.
