Former world No. 1 Yevgeny Kafelnikov has commented on Marat Safin joining Andrey Rublev`s coaching team.
Kafelnikov believes Safin`s charisma will positively influence Rublev. He hopes that if Rublev respects the experience of senior figures, he can gain and utilize valuable insights from Safin, both on and off the court. Kafelnikov expressed optimism about the partnership, suggesting it could provide Rublev with a much-needed positive boost.
Earlier, Andrey Chesnokov raised a question about whether Safin, having been away from professional tennis for a considerable time, possesses sufficient experience to effectively work with Rublev.
